Artistic Residency for audiovisual creation at LIFT 2018-2019

Artistic Residency for audiovisual creation at LIFT 2018-2019

The residency supports the making of a new analog, film-based work by creators born or living in Spain.

Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) co-organizes the second edition of the program of artistic residencies together with (S8) Mostra Internacional de Cinema Periférico and LIFT-Liaison of Independent Filmmakers that will take place at Lift’s facilities in Toronto.

Who can participate?

All those born or resident in Spain willing to create an analog film at the LIFT facilities in Canada will be eligible for the program, which will last between 4 and 6 weeks. Applicants must be of Spanish nationality or hold a NIE (foreigners’ ID number) issued by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, with an accredited artistic trajectory, and wish to realize a film project in analog format.

The residency will take place from January to March 2019. Applicants can register online and view the full information in a PDF document (in Spanish). The closing date for submitting entries is August 15, 2018. The selected applicant will be announced on September 4 on the organizers’ websites.
