24th Annual Vancouver International Flamenco Festival

24th Annual Vancouver International Flamenco Festival

The Vancouver International Flamenco Festival presents the best in international, Canadian and regional flamenco.

Growing from a single intimate evening performance in 1990, the Vancouver International Flamenco Festival has become Western Canada’s premiere flamenco event, presenting the best in international, Canadian and regional flamenco. The week-long celebration of flamenco draws enthusiastic participants and audiences to several venues in Vancouver.

The festival presents flamenco artists performing in a range of styles —from traditional to contemporary, and soloists to ensemble works. As a gathering place for the ever-growing local and national flamenco community, the Vancouver International Flamenco Festival takes the audience from flamenco’s origins as a blend of cultures through to today’s continual evolution of music, song, and dance.
